Membership
Dance Centre members are at the heart of our organization. Our members work in all styles of dance, and include independent artists, teachers, writers, companies, schools, collectives and other organizations. Through membership they can access resources and programs that help develop their professional careers. Members are the first to hear about news, opportunities, programs and events. By joining us and becoming a member, you also become part of a community that is committed to creating an environment where dance can flourish.
The Dance Centre's presence, programs and support services have been an integral part in the development of my career and sense of community in the Vancouver dance landscape. The varying opportunities that the programs offer have provided me with many key stepping stones as an emerging level artist, but most importantly it is a sense of being part of the greater whole that I value the most. An anchor in the fury of creativity, a gathering place, and where the door is always open for dance!

Flamenco Rosario and Centro Flamenco have benefited from the beginning from The Dance Centre’s programs. The Dance Centre has created a friendly environment where we feel welcome and can connect with the rest of the dance community, and where artists feel included and valued regardless of their artistic background.
