Flamenco Rosario’s Advanced Flamenco Workshops with Guest Artist: Sara Jimenez

In Sara’s Jimenez’s workshops the subject is development and communication of the Flamenco language. .

The main purpose is for participants to discover and feel empowered in the continuous search for the bailaora spirit. An evolutionary process that works from the inside; sensory and sensitive, passive and active, musical and physical

Objectives:• Promote the formation and visibility of the Flamenco language and music from a physical point of view• Develop the ability of the body as the central axis of movement through the rhythms and patterns of flamenco.• Explore emotions through dance.

CONTENTS AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROCESS• Body warm-up, exploration of space and inner body sensations through guided improvisation techniques.• Physical movement techniques based on flamenco language and Spanish dance.• Dramaturgical techniques to work from different feelings/emotions and patterns of movement.

LEVEL Advanced: ALEGRIAS

Actual Schedule: July 19, 20, 22 8pm-9;30pm ( No class Thursday 21) – Class on Saturday 23 2-3:30pm
