Into the Unknown (Walking Backwards)
Into the Unknown (Walking Backwards) is a collaborative, experimental dance-creation project, led by Kristen Lewis in collaboration with Avery Smith and Lucas Wilson-Bilbro.
Working alone and communicating with Kristen only by phone, Avery and Lucas are creating solos that explore material they began developing together in 2019, as part of a longer work-in-progress called Agon and the Animal. From the solitude of kitchens and living rooms, they invite you to peer into the worlds they are making, together and alone.
