Dance artists Katie Cassidy, Jessica McMann, Joshua Ongcol are the 2020 participants in the 2nd annual Re-Centering / Margins Creative Residency, produced by Made in BC (MiBC) – Dance on Tour, and co-presented by Simon Fraser University Woodward’s Cultural Programs.

LAUNCH: April 2nd will include a live online conversation with the artists and a showing of the new dance works.

April 3-7 will offer a link to this recorded event.

This creative residency aims to increase opportunities and professional development for emerging dance artists of colour to create contemporary works with mentoring support that helps more fully realize their artistic visions.

This project also supports Made in BC’s mission by strengthening emerging contemporary dance artists in Vancouver for future engagements locally and provincially.
