The newest generation of artists of virtuosity and power are set to take the stage next month in Campbell River, Powell River and Sointula. AU Tour Dance Company, founded in 2024 by Arts Umbrella, is a new professional contemporary dance repertoire company from Vancouver, featuring 14 exquisite emerging dancers. This exciting new performance and creation company features innovative dance works from international choreographers that enhances and utilizes the skills of emerging dancers from British Columbia and around the globe. These beautiful professional dancers, who all graduated from Arts Umbrella’s world renown professional training program, represents the succession of creative and performing talent that BC arts is cultivating.

Under the artistic direction of Artemis Gordon, the company’s repertoire reflects the themes and influences of contemporary art and culture.

The company’s debut will feature an evening of mixed repertoire from four international choreographers, each well-established and accomplished in their respective style. In an event heralding the burgeoning cultural scene on the West Coast, AU Company is proud to announce its inaugural performance.
