THE POWER OF DANCE: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM

  • Scheduling is flexible to meet your school’s needs.

  • Free for elementary schools and their students.

The Power of Dance: Elementary Schools Program offers schools a series of six free workshops led by experienced professional dance artists, for students in kindergarten through to Grade 7. The workshops introduce students to dance and movement, sparking their creativity as well as increasing their physical activity levels and supporting their mental and emotional wellness.

Workshops are tailored to meet both the Physical Education and Fine Arts current curriculum Big Ideas, such as: fostering health and wellness through movement, teaching emotional and social well-being, and building communication and technical skills.
