When The Walls Come Down is a thrilling new dance and Deaf theatre collaboration from Vancouver’s Dance//Novella, led by Racheal Prince and Brandon Lee Alley. Inspired by lead actor Caroline Hébert’s life story, the performance sheds light on stereotypes and difficulties faced by many Deaf Canadians and tells a story of resilience and love. Performed in ASL with English voiceovers, this work shares an imaginative, thought-provoking journey that connects audience members to each other and possibly a community outside of their own.
