PROGRAM

One’s Own – World Premiere 2023

In this work, I wanted to explore what happens when people experience the same event and how they are affected by that event differently. I wanted the dancers to feel a sense of unity at the beginning and then slowly break off in variation. By the end of the work, they are left to reflect on what they have experienced through short solos, which are uniquely designed by each dancer. What matters is the interpretation of one’s experience.

Choreography by Jera Wolfe

Music:  To find dawn into dusk by Gian Marco Castro / Don’t Go by Christopher Dennis Coleman / cold embrace by Gian Marco Castro / All Our Friends Are Vampires by A Winged /  Victory for the Sullen, Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie, Dustin O’Halloran
