Disabled choreographer Harmanie Rose explores distance and connection through the Zoom box. The box is all the barriers, like distance, chronic fatigue, and pain, and also how disabled artists innovate together. Even when we are in separate spaces, our shared attunement and connection remain the center of the work.
Working with access artists Kelsie Acton and Colin van Uchelen, she weaves a web of embedded description that makes the performance accessible to blind and sighted audience members from its inception.
