Dance on the Shore
Who’s Step ..?
Whose Step..? is an interactive dance-theatre experience that blends choreography, scripted drama, and live improvisation. As performers face creative battles shaped by audience input, they challenge themselves to compose in the moment. Through movement, storytelling, and unexpected encounters, competing artists connect, resulting in a dance that celebrates both individual expression and collective creativity.
This is a special preview performance of the work in progress. The audience will help contribute towards the development of the Whose Step ..? project which started as research at The Dance Centre in 2022.

Dance on the Shore is a collaborative research and performance project developed by Virginia Duivenvoorden, in partnership with The Dance Centre. The pilot project and performances expand professional dance activity on the North Shore. It celebrates dance, artistic exchange, and community connection for performing arts created by, for, and in conversation with North Shore communities.
