Fiana Kawane is a dance artist and choreographer trained in Kathak, a north Indian classical dance form known for its pirouettes, lyrical movements, and footwork. She trained over more than a decade with Kadamb, an institute founded and directed by Kumudini Lakhia, in India. Fiana has performed independently and with dance companies across India, Pakistan, Canada, Japan, and France.
Shilpa Shankar is a Bharata Natyam dance artist. Originally from India, where she received initial training in the dance form under Nirupama Rajendra of Abinava Dance Company, she currently receives advanced training in Bharata Natyam at Mandala Arts and Culture and has been under the mentorship and guidance of Artistic Director Jai Govinda for the past 4 years. Shilpa is also a Certified Public Accountant, and serves as Treasurer on the board of Company 605.
