As part of Kinesthesia, Montreal-based live artist Dana Michel will perform their work MIKE throughout the Arts Centre. Michel’s practice is an eclectic mixture of improvisation, choreography, sculpture, comedy, hip-hop, cinematography, techno, poetry, psychology, dub, and social commentary. Engaging with commonplace office objects, MIKE addresses themes of work culture, self-respect, and the search for selfhood, through complex tensions that manifest in the space between our public persona and inner lives.
