Flamenco Classes:
Flamenco is a dance style born from the south of Spain (Andalusia). It is suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness, no experience necessary. You will learn palmas (hand clapping to rhythm), arm and footwork technique and some choreography styles. Come join the fun!
Bonnie Stewart
Bonnie is co-founder/instructor for Vancouver Flamenco Collective, teaches at Vanleena Dance Academy, taught at Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts, taught at Arts Umbrella and Centro Flamenco. Bonnie was a regular performer at both Kino Café and at Chai. She is excited to be teaching for Flamenco Rosario.
Creative Movement Class:
Linda’s Creative Movement Class for Seniors offers the joy of creative expression and group connectivity in a stimulating dance class. Students will learn to improve their body alignment, core strength, balance, and coordination. As students gain an awareness of the role of breath and emotion in movement, they will experience the healing power of dance. Class begins slowly culminating in an expressive dance sequence built upon moves learned in class.
