Three dance artists leaning back with their mouths open in mock screams. One other dance artist sits on a stump looking at the fake fire. They are wearing outdoor clothing and the stage is set up like a camping area. A dance artist balance on one arm mid flip. They are back lit to look like the silhouette's of other dance artists projecting on the screen behind them.

Dance//Novella

Dance//Novella was founded by former Ballet BC artists Racheal Prince and Brandon Lee Alley, and in a few short years has gained a reputation for bold and inspiring creations which blend superlative dancing, and rich theatricality. Night is the Mother, the company’s newest work, is inspired by dreams and follows six characters as they band together and try to survive in a fantastical landscape of shifting realities.
