Originally from Israel, a hotbed of international contemporary dance, choreographer Idan Cohen formed his company Ne. Sans to re-imagine and reconnect contemporary dance and opera; he has electrified audiences with his meticulously crafted choreography, vivid theatrical images and intense musicality. Accompanied by pianist/conductor Leslie Dala, this intimate program features the countertenor Shane Hanson and company dancers in excerpts of recent works to music by Handel, Bach, and Philip Glass.
