Inside the world of I CARE WHAT YOU THINK, failure becomes beautiful, movement becomes honest, performance becomes transparent, ugliness becomes necessary, and our wishes, both those of the audience and performers, become the heart of the work. In this performance, we ask if we can be better together? The artists oscillate between observation and action. They make choices. Wish for things. In considering a perfect dance, they recognize that it is not the pursuit of an unattainable ideal that drives them, but a search for connection – personal and universal — and one that is beautifully flawed. The dance, like the choices we make everyday, exists in the spaces between, around and within us all. We act alone and we act together.
