Workshop with Tiffany Tregarthen
Dance Centre Artist-in-Residence Tiffany Tregarthen of Out Innerspace Dance Theatre leads a workshop where she will teach an excerpt of her solo from OIS’s newest work, Bygones, and lead participants through some of the character development and movement research process she relies on to support her work with Kidd Pivot and Out Innerspace.

Born in Prince George, BC, Tiffany’s early career began in New York and Seoul followed by 2 years centred in Antwerp training, performing and creating in Belgium, Italy and the Czech Republic. Tiffany has created numerous works for post-secondary institutions, was one of 4 winners of the Les Grands Ballets Canadiens National Young Choreographer Competition, toured internationally with companies including Wen Wei Dance, Justine Chambers, Company 605 and Beijing Modern Dance Company, and has been a member of Kidd Pivot since 2013. Together with David Raymond, she is directing, creating, and performing as Out Innerspace Dance Theatre. Alongside Kate Franklin, Tiffany & David lead Out Innerspace’s post-secondary education program Modus Operandi.
