“Forêt is a crossing. The dreamlike passage from one place to another, that of a change of state. Forêt is an inner journey. Here the images open onto the unconscious, the forest moves, snorts, opens with image and sound, while the phantasmagoric figure of the female character meanders and questions. Forêt is a sensory opera built like a slide, alternately vertigo and flight, fall then redemption. A sensitive epic in the form of a quest.”
Philippe Malone
A protean artist, Franck Vigroux evolves in a universe where contemporary music, theatre, dance and video intersect. Verbose and without stylistic barriers, Vigroux travels for a while on the scenes of experimental and improvised music, then his musical evolution leads him to electronic music. After making “concept albums”, experimental films, collaborating with playwrights, sound poets or choreographers, he became more and more interested in live audiovisual forms and stage writing, which led him little by little to stage his music through multidisciplinary shows.
