Fiana Kawane is an independent dance artist and choreographer trained in Kathak at Kadamb, India. She has performed independently and ensemble across countries like India, Pakistan, Canada, Japan, and France. Her practice centres interdisciplinary collaboration, public engagement, and dialogue. She is working on her PhD dissertation on lyric poetry and ecology at UBC, on unceded MST territories.
