The Dance Centre’s 2022-2023 season presents a program of exciting performances and events by artists working across a wide range of genres. The Global Dance Connections contemporary dance series features Canadian and international choreographers, and the popular Discover Dance! series presents dance from diverse cultural backgrounds. Other highlights include the annual Scotiabank Dance Centre Open House, Iris Garland Emerging Choreographer Award recipient Shion Skye Carter, and residencies and research labs throughout the season.

“Throughout the pandemic we have remained passionately committed to supporting artists, sharing dance with audiences, and operating our building as a vibrant and safe creative hub,” says Mirna Zagar, The Dance Centre’s Executive Director. “As we move forward with hope and determination, I am so grateful to our resilient and creative artistic community, and to the audience members, donors, volunteers and partners who have been steadfast in their support for our work and the art of dance.”
