Dance//Novella is excited to share excerpts from its newest work, Night is the Mother, premiering at Discover Dance! on April 25.

This workshop will commence with an improvisation-based warm-up facilitated by Co-Artistic Director Racheal Prince (she/her). Company artists Juan Duarte (they/them) and Kiera Hill (she/her) will then teach excerpts of the work, providing their perspective as performers in the piece. This collaborative experience will afford participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized coaching.

Experienced dancers from all backgrounds are welcome. Although there will be room to move at your own pace and make modifications, participants should feel comfortable learning complex choreographic phrases.
